My professional journey covers several industries from the SDLC to e-business consultancy, process reengineering, academic and interactive media; which gave me the incredible opportunity to see the integration between strategies, process and information technology from different perspectives. On the other hand my roles as developer, technical architect, consultant and project manager, gave a better understanding about the challenges to integrate different points of view. BPM Global Solutions
BPM Entrepreneurship and Consultancy Projects.

I co-founded BPM Global Solutions a company focused on providing BPM consultancy services. I led partnerships with BPM technology vendors such as IBM WebSphere, Pectra BPM Technology, Intalio BPM and KPMG. In addition, I managed several consultancy projects in BPM for companies such Citibank and Citicolfondos. Through the alliance with the Universidad Externado in Colombia, I had the opportunity to train 450 students an 10 companies in various BPM aspects such as, Business Process Reengineering (BPR), redesign, and the application of the BPM discipline, methodologies, and BPM technologies. The training included business process strategic alignment, business process architecture, BPMN standards, modeling of human and systems workflows, Business Process Rules (BPR), Business Process Modeling Language(BPML), processes monitoring using Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) standards and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

This web campaign was created to introduce a new product in the Healthcare industry. The product concept created around health and wellbeing of employees, improved productivity and cost saving reductions for chronic diseases. It was a great challenge involving a multidisciplinary team.

Set of media banners and email campaigns for various products and services: Land Rover, Smirnoff, Nestle and Microsoft. These projects included creative design, production & post production processes, and deployment to Rich media platforms (Eyeblaster, Atlas, Yahoo). BPM model, intensive in business process rules and systems integration.

Reengineering and automation project to enable the online trade marketing process. This e-government solution integrated 450 mediation agencies developing 3 large international trade processes, 17 government entities involved and cooperating online together and Electronic Payments integrated.
Electronic Service Provider (PSE)
Business, operational and technical architecture based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

This project developed a set of strategic, operational, and IT architectural models to create a solution to standardize online electronic payment transactions. It is one of the largest contributions to the development of E-commerce in Colombia allowing citizens to use debit payment transactions.
This project included design of the first high level SOA architecture model, 5 vendors evaluated to implement the solution (Microsoft, IBM, HP, Sun, Oracle) trough a RFP process. 17 banks currently integrated.
